IRVING, TX – May 13, 2020 – Diversity and Inclusion are essential areas of focus for Riva. We pride ourselves on working toward being a truly inclusive workplace.
That’s why we were excited to take part in the International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners, IAMCP, challenge recently to take photos of staff members with their diversity and inclusion posters to help bring awareness to and encourage diversity and inclusion.
What does diversity mean to Riva?
For Riva, diversity recognizes and respects all the differences that make us unique individuals, and inclusion is the practice of embracing and celebrating those individual differences.
“Diversity and inclusion, to Riva, is the act of creating a work environment where employees are respected, valued, and treated fairly with equal access to opportunities. It’s also fostering a company culture where each employee feels safe to show up to work as their full selves,” explains Riva HR Lead, Diana Powell.
Riva has a very diverse workforce. Of Riva’s staff, 25% are women with STEM-related roles (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), women represent 30% of senior management positions, employees represent more than 20 different nationalities, 42% of employees are under 35, and 46% of employees are between the age of 35 and 54.
