Riva is here to make CRM easier, smarter, and in line with industry and regulatory requirements. Our Insight side panel is the best way to deliver on that promise – putting connections, conversations and meetings into the context of relationships, right in the workflow your teams use most.

Our newest release is ready for release on November 30, 2021, and delivers key improvements!

Important Notice: Internet Explorer End of Life and Edge Chromium (WebView2) Support

Insight version: Windows Add-in

The Riva Insight Windows add-in now supports Edge Chromium (WebView2) as the embedded browser within Outlook. This follows Microsoft’s and Salesforce’s announcements that they are ending (or have ended) support for Microsoft Internet Explorer, also ending support for Microsoft Internet Explorer with Riva Insight. Using Edge Chromium is especially recommended for anyone connecting to Riva Insight through Login with Salesforce.

What Is New

Interested in Salesforce Financial Service Cloud? Riva Has Solutions for You.

Set your teams up for continued success with customer relationships – while meeting the compliance and security requirements from your CISO. Earlier this year, Riva was named a key technology partner by Salesforce to support Interactions in the Financial Service Cloud (FSC). With this newest release, Riva expands to support Interaction Summaries!

Through Riva Insight’s Meeting Notes features, your users can seamlessly create and securely share their meeting notes as Interaction Summaries in FSC, directly from Outlook. This release allows for highly curated information (including related account, opportunity, and attendee details) to be shared quickly, securely, and compliantly.  Your teams get the data they need, when they need it, in the workflows they prefer – without you worrying about a compliance breach.

Increase Emails’ Impact with Delayed Send

Email efficiency and impact are all about timing. According to Entrepreneur.com, the highest open rates happen mid-week at 10 am. Still, it’s often complicated for workers to remember to trigger an email at that exact time without setting up reminders and disrupting their day.

Insight now has the solution. The Delayed Send feature empowers your users to schedule emails to be sent at the most opportune times – increasing their impact and leading to better results. Both exact and relative dates options are supported (based on the sender’s time zone) and can be customized to match your team’s needs.

We crafted a guide for your users to walk them through the new capabilities.

Does your Insight Instance Look Like This?

For our previous release (Riva Insight 2021.3), we rolled out an updated look and feel to our side panel. Upgrade now (if you haven’t already) and discover the new interface that will make your Insight experience seamless.

What Is Easier

Tracking Emails to CRM Made Simpler

Insight version: Outlook Web Add-in

With this release, Insight has removed even more friction from workflows. “Track and Send” is back for Insight’s Outlook Web Add-in. Now your users can easily track an email to CRM at the same time they send with a single button. (This also applies to Delayed Emails).

What We Fixed

Insight 2021.4 was a feature-focused release; no major bugs were addressed.
